No. You can order your kit at any time. If you are already a Connect Med patient, your results are attached to your care record for clinician review.
Is this a cheek swab or a blood draw?
It is a painless at-home cheek swab. Everything you need, including prepaid return shipping, is in the kit.
How long do results take?
Most reports are returned within 2–3 weeks of the lab receiving your sample.
Is my genetic information private?
Yes. Results are handled under HIPAA and are only shared with your treating clinician and care team. We never sell genetic data.
